A 47-year-old man will appear in court today after a stabbing in New Lynn.

The police were called to a house in Gardner Avenue at around 11:30pm yesterday after reports a person had been attacked.
They found a man with serious injuries.
A person was arrested soon after and has been charged with wounding with intent, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
