Fiji's Education Minister has warned teachers she has zero tolerance for sexual harassment in schools.

Rosy Akbar told the Fijian Broadcasting Corporation that cases of harassment are a concern to the ministry.

She said this is one reason why the government has not renewed the appointments of some school department heads and vice principals.

Ms Akbar said the ministry is also aware of teachers misusing government funds.
