The 2009 class action filed against Mobil and Shell for alleged price fixing in the CNMI is on again.

Last week, the CNMI Superior Court turned down a request by Mobil Oil Mariana Islands and the Mariana Acquisition Corporation, which owns Shell Marianas, to dismiss the lawsuit for failure to prosecute.
The lawsuit is seeking damages from Mobil and Shell for allegedly conspiring to illegally set gasoline prices in the CNMI.
It was filed in 2009 on behalf of all drivers who use unleaded fuel on Saipan.
Since then, the lawsuit has been dismissed, appealed, reversed, and remanded.
