A 33-year-old man has been arrested over the death of a man found dead in Napier on the weekend.
Colin Blithe, 68, was found deceased in his Theatre Lane flat after friends were concerned he had not been seen for a couple of days, according to the New Zealand Herald.
The man arrested today is expected to appear in Napier District Court on 3 February charged with murder.
Police said they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the investigation and that it is believed the two people knew each other.
