16:33 pm on 8 October 2021

Police are not ruling out further people being charged after a man was fatally shot in Auckland last week.

So far, a 24-year-old man has been charged with murder and a woman, 20, has been charged with being an accessory to murder after Mars Rakeem died last Saturday.

The police were called to a house on Saintly Lane, in Avondale, following reports of gunshots.

Rakeem was found injured at the scene, and later died in hospital.
