Emergency services are attending a crash on State Highway 16 in Huapai in Waitematā on Tuesday evening.
Police advise motorists to expect delays.
The crash, which was reported about 5.30pm, involved a vehicle and a motorbike.
Early reports suggested the motorcylist had been seriously injured, police said.
A section of Main Road / SH16 is closed with diversions in place at the intersections of Main Road with Tapu and Oraha Roads.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
