The police have charged a man with murder after a man was shot dead in South Auckland last week.

Faaifo Siaosi, also known as 'Joe', died on Piako Street in Ōtara last Friday afternoon.
The police said a 21-year-old man has been charged with murder and will appear in the Manukau District Court tomorrow.
A second 21-year-old male faces a firearms charge and has already appeared in court.
