A 58-year-old Christchurch woman missing since midday yesterday has been found safe and well.

Police said Alison Rickaby, who had been reported missing from her address in Ilam, required medication and may be feeling unwell.
They had asked people to check sheds, carports and anywhere else on their property where she may have taken shelter.
Police said she had been located and was well, and safe thanked the public for their help in the search.
