Police have warned of major traffic delays following a serious crash on State Highway 29A at Mount Manganui.

Emergency services alerted to the crash, which involved multiple vehicles, at around 3pm.
The road has been closed and police say there are significant traffic delays.
Motorists travelling from Mount Manganui are being diverted and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
An update on injuries will be provided when able, police say.
