French Polynesia's president Edouard Fritch has presented his 10-member government after the territorial assembly last week re-elected him for a five-year term.
The new government includes four women whose portfolios cover tourism, education, family affairs and the modernisation of the administration.
Teva Rohfritsch remains vice-president and economy minister.
Six of the ministers, who were appointed today, had been elected to the territorial assembly earlier this month, which means that they will now have to vacate their seats again.
As a consequence, the next six members on the Tapura Huiraaitira party list will take up the assembly seats.
Among them is Luc Faatau who had been a minister in the last government.
The Tapura has a majority of 38 in the 57-member assembly.
Its election success is being challeged by at least three complaints of irregularity but the party says it expects them to be thrown out.
Mr Fritch, who had two corruption convictions in the last term, is yet to appear in court in another case alleging abuse of public funds.
