Fiji Village reported the man aged in his late twenties has been charged with one count of murder and will appear at the Suva Magistrates Court today.

Ashkan Farsani from Auckland was found lying outside Suva's main hospital with stab wounds last Wednesday.

Attempts to save his life were unsuccessful.

The car that dropped him at the hospital was later found abandoned.

Mr Farsani was involved in the taro export industry.
