The Serious Fraud Office charged the former employee with one charge of false accounting.

The Christcurch District Court was told today that the woman directed patients to pay for their treatments by putting the money into a bank account she controlled.

The defendant, who has been granted interim name suppression, will reappear in the same later this year.
