Another 3302 community cases of Covid-19 have been reported in New Zealand today, along with another 10 deaths of people with the coronavirus.
The seven-day rolling average of community case numbers continues to fall and is 3828 today, compared to 4418 last Saturday.
In today's statement, the Ministry of Health said there were 467 people in hospital with Covid-19, including seven in ICU.
The total number of deaths confirmed as attributable to Covid-19 has risen by nine today to 1824.
The 10 deaths of people with Covid-19 reported today include one person in their 40s, as well as two who were in their 60s, three in their 70s, three in their 80s and one aged over 90. Three were women and seven were men.
Three were from Auckland region, one was from Waikato, one was from Taranaki, one was from MidCentral, one was from Wellington region, two were from Canterbury, one was from Southern.
There has now been a total of 1,697,709 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in New Zealand.
