A patient has been airlifted to Middlemore Hospital after a water-related incident in Port Waikato.
St John said they were notified of the incident shortly before midday Saturday.
A spokesperson said one ambulance, a manager and a helicopter responded.
The person was airlifted to the Auckland hospital in a serious condition.
