Despite the damage from Super Typhoon Yutu, the Northern Marinas will start early voting for the 2018 general election today.

The Commonwealth Election Commission said early voting will be from 8:30am to 4pm on Saipan, Tinian and Rota.
The Commission said the designated polling places have both power and air-conditioning.
Registered voters need to bring an identification card with a photograph.
As of 5 October, a record number of voters,18,975, had registered in the CNMI .
The general election has been delayed a week to November the13th because of the typhoon.
