A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in relation to the importation of meth concealed in beer cans.
Detective inspector Glenn Baldwin says the suspect was arrested at Auckland Airport on 10 March.
He has been charged with supplying methamphetamine and remains before the Auckland District Court.
Last week police executed a search warrant at a property in Manukau where meth was found concealed amongst a large shipment of 'Honey Bear House Beer' cans.
A coroner today lifted name suppression of the man who died after drinking some of the contaminated beer.
Aiden Ma'aseia Iosefa Sagala, 21, died on 7 March in Auckland.
Police told the coroner there is nothing to suggest he was involved in any criminal activity.
Police cannot rule out further arrests as the investigation continues and advise anyone who may be offered, 'Honey Bear House Beer' to not drink it.
