A two-month long operation targeting drugs, gangs and organised crime in Canterbury has been a success, police say.
In that time, 49 people have been arrested and appeared in court on a range of charges including cultivating cannabis, unlawful possession of a firearm and selling a psychoactive substance.
Detective Senior Sergeant Jason Stewart said 21 search warrants were executed, and they seized items including two firearms, hundreds of cannabis plants and cuttings, more than 180 kilograms of synthetic cannabis, and stolen property.
More than 120 people were referred to support agencies for drug, violence and alcohol problems.
The police will now target people with outstanding warrants to arrest, especially those who have breached their bail conditions or failed to appear in court.
