The number of dengue cases in Fiji has fallen in the past six weeks, the Health Ministry says.
It said the current number was what was expected about this time of the year.
From the beginning of January until the end of May there were 3437 confirmed cases of dengue, with four people dying of the infection.
The ministry warned people still needed to be vigilant and try to prevent getting bitten and to get rid of mosquito breeding places.
Last month, the New Zealand government announced a major initiative to assist the World Mosquito Programme to try and limit the ability of mosquitoes to spread the disease in Fiji.
