A 32-year-old man charged with the murder of a New Zealand national has had his case transferred to the High Court in Suva.
The Fiji Times reports Rusiate Sogotubu Raiwalui appeared at the Suva Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Mr Raiwalui is charged with one count of murder.
It's alleged that he murdered Ashkan Farsani Rikthegazader, on 8 May.
The New Zealander was found with multiple stab wounds outside the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva and later died.
The case has been adjourned until 28 May.
