Fiji's Independent Commission Against Corruption, or FICAC, says documents posted to a blog site with recommendations a minister be charged with corruption are not real.

Documents recently posted on the website Fijileaks appear to come from FICAC, and contain recommendations from the conclusion of an investigation in 2012.

It recommends that the then health minister, Dr Neil Sharma, be charged for corruption over a tendering process.

Last week the agency declined to comment on the authenticity of the documents but Public Affairs Officer Nandni Vandhana now says they are not from FICAC and are not legitimate.

The Commission says it's carrying out a general investigation into the Ministry of Health but cannot say when it began.
