One person has been arrested in an Auckland suburb and another taken to hospital on Saturday morning.
Police and ambulance were called to Onehunga Mall about 10.50am, with a person reported to have a stomach injury.
"One person was arrested at the scene," said a police spokesperson.
"Police were following lines of inquiry to locate another individual believed to be involved, and also were to follow up with the victim in hospital."
A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said it responded with one ambulance, two rapid response units, and one manager.
"We assessed, treated, and transported one patient in a serious condition to Middlemore hospital."
