A serious crash has closed the highway south of Geraldine.
Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash about 3:15pm.
Police say State Highway 79 is closed between Tiplady Road and Kennedy Street.
Diversions are in place and motorists should expect delays.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
