Imitation firearm may have been cause of armed call-out - police

Armed police have responded to a person sighted with a possible firearm in the Auckland suburb of Grafton.

Police were called to a residential address in Burton Street just after 1.30pm on Sunday.

A spokesperson said an imitation firearm was discovered and a person was being spoken to by officers.
