A search continues for an Otago man who hasn't been seen since Thursday afternoon.
Gordon McLean, 63, also called 'Gordy', left Wakari Hospital about 3pm on Thursday.
Sixty search and rescue volunteers, Red Cross volunteers, a rescue search dog and police are today searching Wakari, Helensburgh, Halfway Bush, Kaikorai Valley and Frasers Gully.
The Dunedin Marine Search and Rescue team is also checking waterways and culverts in Kaikorai Valley.
Residents are being asked to check their properties thoroughly, particularly in the Halfway Bush area.
Mr McLean is approximately 152cm tall, of very thin build, and considered frail.
He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured polar fleece and trousers, a red-coloured polo shirt, brown slippers and a black puffer sleeveless jacket.
