Fiji and Kazakhstan to further cooperation

The prime ministers of Fiji and Kazakhstan discuss more bilateral engagement with each other.

Fiji's Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama has discussed more bilateral engagement with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bakytzhan Sagintayev .

The meeting occurred prior to the Fijian showcase at the 2017 World Expo being held in Kazakhstan.

The hosts said the visit was aimed at furthering cooperation, especially in tourism and agriculture but also trade housing and education.

Fiji has expressed a keen interest in learning from Kazakhstan's success in both the mining and organic farming sectors.
