One person has died after a single-vehicle crash in Wairoa overnight on Saturday.
Police said emergency services were called to the crash on Kopu Road about 1.05am.
A police spokesperson said one person died at the scene.
They said the Serious Crash Unit had examined the scene and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash were ongoing.
