A man has died in a quad bike crash on a Waimate property.
Police said emergency services were called to a Bridge Road, Waihao Downs property shortly after 8pm Saturday.
"A male was located on the property, and sadly died at the scene," police said in a statement.
The exact circumstances of the accident have not yet been confirmed, except that it appeared the quad bike had rolled, and no other vehicles were involved..
The police serious crash unit attended, and the death would be referred to the Coroner.
