Another vehicle of New Caledonia's civil security service has been vandalised.
The public broadcaster said a complaint was lodged with police after the vehicle's windows were smashed near Mont-Dore.
The driver had stopped to help an injured person caught up in a brawl when the vehicle was attacked.
The service said without the vehicle it would struggle to provide cover for this weekend's sport events.
Last month, a vehicle of the civil security command was stolen from a secured parking lot and later abadoned in a degraded state.
Days earlier, a vehicle of the fire service was stolen.
