A new web-based system aimed at ensuring businesses pay the right amount of tax is being rolled out in Samoa.
The revenue minister said it will enable the real-time capture and monitoring of sales, notifying the revenue office how much tax should be collected.
Tialavea Tionisio Hunt told parliament the programme will start in January.
He also said a new x-ray scanner for cargo at Apia's main wharf is due to arrive next year.
