The Interislander has confirmed all of its Cook Strait ferry services over Easter will go ahead.
A gearbox issue has seen its Kaitaki ferry out of action since 4 March.
Executive general manager Walter Rushbrook said more than 8000 passengers who were booked for the first 10 days of April have been contacted by staff.
At least 90 percent should cross as planned although the times of some sailings have changed, Rushbrook said.
A small number of people travelling in the lead up to the long weekend have had their crossing cancelled and will be offered a full refund, he said.
