Third person charged with Lake Horowhenua murder after turning himself in

A man has been charged with murder over the death of Robert Albert at Lake Horowhenua in October.

He is the third person charged in relation to the death.

Albert, 56, was found dead in a building at Muaūpoko Park on 17 October.

A 36-year-old man was arrested after presenting to the Levin Police station Wednesday.

He is due to appear in the Levin District Court Thursday.

A 40-year-old man was earlier charged with murder and unlawful possession of a pistol, while a 23-year-old is also charged with murder.
