A man who's been classified as a top security risk in French Polynesia will be transferred to France.
The 30-year-old is being held in isolation at a Tahiti prison, where he's been clamouring to be sent to a French prison holding jihadists.
His 20 convictions include attacking a prison guard with a knife, assaulting corrections staff, making death threats, and destroying furniture. .
Corrections staff are expected to discuss details of the transfer with the French justice minister Nicole Belloubet, who will visit Tahiti this week.
