Maori Television has announced details of a restructure that could result in the loss of three jobs and the introduction of six senior management roles.
The network confirmed on Tuesday it is changing the titles of some executives, including veteran broadcasters Julian Wilcox and Carol Hirschfeld.
The channel's chief executive, Paora Maxwell, says Mr Wilcox and Ms Hirschfield were valuable members of Maori TV and could apply for the new senior position.
Their existing jobs would be retitled and retained in the company structure.
Mr Maxwell says the restructure was intended to align its operations with its strategy as a multi-platform broadcaster.
A final decision on the proposal will be announced next Tuesday after staff are consulted about the possible changes.
