Police have arrested three men following an aggravated robbery as a part of Operation Cobalt enforcement activity in Nelson.
The men allegedly assaulted, threatened, and robbed a man after offering him a ride on 23 October.
Police said the victim was going about his business, and should not have been subjected to such senseless intimidation and violence.
The victim was not seriously injured, they said.
A search warrant was carried out on 3 November and all three men were taken into custody.
Police said the group of men arrested are all patched or associate members of the Mongrel Mob.
They have been charged with aggravated robbery and appeared in the Nelson District Court today.
