Police officers on a routine enquiry in Auckland have seized firearms, cash and drugs and arrested four people.
The officers went to a house at Dundee Place in Blockhouse Bay last night, where a man fired a pistol with a blank round.
Police said he was searched, and methamphetamine and $10,000 in cash was found.
Three nearby people, who the police say are gang members or associates, were also searched and officers found weapons, drugs and drug paraphernalia.
A 35-year-old man was charged with possession of methamphetamine for supply. He is due to appear in the Auckland District Court on 9 April and police said other charges were likely.
The three other men, aged 26, 28 and 33, have also appeared in court on drug-related charges.
