The sedition trial of senior Fiji Times staff is set to begin next week.
The FBC news reports a pre-trial conference will take place on Friday, with the trial proper scheduled between December 5 and December 15.
The charges relate to an article in the iTaukei language newspaper, Nai Lalakai, regarding the Muslim community.
The article was written by Josaia Waqabaca, who was jailed after the 2000 coup for his role in a plot to kill the then-military commander - and now prime minister - Frank Bainimarama.
Mr Waqabaca, along with the editor of Nai Lalakai, Anare Ravula, the Fiji Times editor-in-chief Fred Wesley, and its publisher Hank Arts are all accused
If convicted, they face a maximum of 10 years in prison.
All of the accused are on bail.
