A man has died in a workplace incident involving a tractor.
Police said officers in Southland were alerted to the incident at a rural workplace on Wyndham Road in Tuturau around 1.30pm.
"WorkSafe has been advised and the man's death will be referred to the coroner," police said in a statement.
Tuturau is about a 40 minute drive from Invercargill.
