Police name baby that died from non-accidental injury

The police have named the 16-month-old boy who died in Auckland's Starship Hospital after sustaining what is believed to be a non-accidental head injury.

The police launched a homicide investigation into the death of Malcolm Robert Bell.

Detectives are talking to a number of people in relation to Malcolm's death.

No one has been charged at this time.
