Police have released a new image of Graham Russell Smith in the hopes it may them gather information as they continue searching for him.
Smith, 77, was last seen near Porirua on 10 November.
He was reported missing after going for a walk on Doctor Track on the Rangituhi/Colonial Knob walkway.
Police said the CCTV image it was releasing was taken earlier on the day he went missing - and he is wearing the same clothes he was last seen in.
He was also wearing a dark blue puffer jacket when he was last seen, police said.
"Police Search and Rescue, LandSAR volunteers - including teams from Horowhenua and Manawatu - and the Amateur Emergency Radio Communication Team are assisting the search," police said.
"The Police National Dive Squad began searching the reservoirs in the reserve yesterday, and are continuing their search today.
"Fire and Emergency New Zealand assisted last night with the use of a drone with thermal capability."
Police asked that anyone who may have seen Smith get in touch and requested people in nearby suburbs to check their properties.
