If you thought the RNZ website was looking a little different, you would be correct.
Upgrades have been made to an all-new podcast section and audio player, making it easier to listen to RNZ's audio content.
They are the first audience-facing changes in a series of projects under way to improve audience experience on the website.
RNZ chief technology officer Mark Bullen said: "RNZ is investing in modern technologies now to ensure the longevity of our services well into the future.
"Infrastructure upgrades across our operations will streamline our processes, increasing efficiency and content quality."
The new podcast section is home to more than 100 RNZ podcasts and comes with curation tools to make finding them even easier.
It will move to RNZ's app in the coming weeks, and users will be able to experience it through an update in their app store.
Meanwhile, the new audio player has been made easier to use for audiences.
RNZ's chief content officer Megan Whelan said it also enhanced the quality of the audience's listening experience.
"As the leader in audio content and public media, we want to make sure the experience for our listeners matches the quality of that content and recognises the growing audience for on-demand audio content."
Upgrades include being able to listen to audio in the same browser window without having a new one open, and being able to change the speed of audio.
