Some of the worst affected survivors of Typhoon Yutu in the Northern Marianas are being offered free return-tickets to anywhere in the United States.

The Marianas Variety is reporting the offer, which is meant to provide respite for people whose homes were destroyed by Yutu, and covers airfares, baggage and pet fees.
It is being offered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
To be eligible, people must register for FEMA, verify their identities, and prove they were displaced by Typhoon Yutu.
At least one member of the household must also be either a US citizen, non-citizen national, or qualified alien, and the household cannot have transport assistance from any other source.
FEMA said the idea behind the program is to provide some of the worst affected families with the option of travelling to the mainland where there are more resources and also where they can visit relatives.
Eligible families are required to travel within 30 days of being approved to travel and must stay more than 60 days on the mainland before returning.
