The Post Courier reports a defence force long range reconnaissance team conducted the exercise in front of experts from Australia and New Zealand.

A bus hijacking was played out for the Minister for APEC, Justin Tkatchenko, Police Commissioner Gari Baki, defence force and police officials and media in Eight-Mile.

Speaking after the demonstration, Mr Tkatchenko said there had been four years of intense training, dedication and hard work to ensure security at the summit.
