Police have arrested another person in relation to a firearms incident at the Sofitel Hotel in central Auckland last month.

A 22-year-old Head Hunters gang member was arrested and charged after police executed three search warrants at addresses in West Auckland this morning.
Police said two firearms - a shot gun and a military-style semi-automatic firearm - and hundreds of rounds of ammunition, a large amount of cannabis and cash amounting to tens of thousands of dollars were seized.
The arrested man has also been charged with unlawfully possessing firearms and ammunition, drug dealing and participating in an organised criminal group.
The man is the eighth to be charged in connection to the investigation, but police say further arrests are likely.
